Abstract:
(EN) This invention provides a closed nickel-hydrogen battery that, particularly under a low-temperature atmosphere, has high output density and has excellent cycle characteristics. The nickel-hydrogen battery comprises a nickel electrode as a positive electrode and a hydrogen absorbing electrode as a negative electrode. The hydrogen absorbing electrode is a hydrogen absorbing alloy electrode comprising a hydrogen absorbing alloy powder supported on an electrically conductive support. The hydrogen absorbing alloy powder comprises a rare earth element and a nickel-containing non-rare earth metal element. The hydrogen absorbing alloy powder has a mass saturation magnetization of 2 to 6 emu/g, and the amount of the hydrogen absorbing alloy powder supported per unit area of the hydrogen absorbing electrode is 0.06 to 0.15 g/cm2.
(FR) La présente invention concerne une batterie de nickel hydrogène fermée qui, en particulier dans une atmosphère à faible température, présente une densité de sortie élevée et présente d'excellentes caractéristiques de cycle. Ladite batterie comprend une électrode en nickel formant électrode positive et une électrode d'absorption d'hydrogène formant électrode négative. L'électrode d'absorption d'hydrogène est une électrode en alliage absorbant l'hydrogène comprenant une poudre d'alliage absorbant l'hydrogène se trouvant sur un support électriquement conducteur. Ladite poudre comprend un élément du groupe des terres rares et un élément métallique n’étant pas du groupe des terres rares contenant du nickel. Ladite poudre présente une aimantation par saturation massique de 2 à 6 emu/g et la quantité de poudre d'alliage absorbant l'hydrogène se trouvant par unité de surface de l'électrode absorbant l'hydrogène est de 0,06 à 0,15 g/cm2.
(JA) 特に低温の雰囲気下において、高出力密度を有し、且つ、サイクル特性に優れた密閉型ニッケル水素電池を提供する。 ニッケル電極を正極とし、水素吸蔵電極を負極とするニッケル水素電池において、希土類元素とニッケルを含む非希土類金属元素からなる水素吸蔵合金粉末を導電性支持体に担持させた水素吸蔵合金電極であって、前記水素吸蔵合金粉末の質量飽和磁化が2~6emu/gであり、前記水素吸蔵電極の単位面積当たりの水素吸蔵合金粉末担持量が0.06~0.15g/cm2である水素吸蔵電極を備えた密閉型ニッケル水素電池とする。
