Abstract:
(EN) Luminance of a plasma display is enhanced while suppressing deterioration in resolution. In a plasma display module comprising panel sections (12, 18) and a circuit section (27) and performing display by receiving an interlace signal, two horizontal lines adjacent vertically in each of odd field and even field form a set, two vertically adjacent cells belonging to a set of two horizontal lines display one pixel, each field consists of a plurality of subframes, and two cells in the set are lighted or unlighted simultaneously in a certain subframe at least for some display load rate wherein the ratio of emission intensity is different from 1 when the two cells are lighted simultaneously.
(FR) La présente invention permet d'améliorer la luminance lumineuse d'un affichage au plasma tout en supprimant une dégradation en résolution. Dans un module d'affichage au plasma comprenant des sections de panneau (12, 18) ainsi qu'une section de circuit (27) et effectuant l'affichage en recevant un signal entrelacé, deux lignes horizontales adjacentes verticalement dans chacune d'une trame impaire et d'une trame paire forment un ensemble, deux cellules adjacentes verticalement appartenant à un ensemble de deux lignes horizontales affichent un pixel, chaque trame consiste en une pluralité de sous-trames, et deux cellules dans l'ensemble sont éclairées ou ne le sont pas simultanément dans une certaine sous-trame au moins pour une certaine vitesse de chargement d'affichage, selon laquelle le rapport d'intensité d'émission est différent de 1 lorsque les deux cellules sont éclairées simultanément.
(JA)  プラズマディスプレイモジュールにおける解像度の低下を抑えながら輝度の向上を図る。  パネル部12、18と回路部27とを備え、インタレース信号を受けて表示を行うプラズマディスプレイモジュールにおいて、奇数フィールド、偶数フィールドのそれぞれにおいて上下に隣接する2つの水平ラインが組となり、組となった当該2つの水平ラインに属する上下に隣接する2つのセルで1つの画素を表示し、各フィールドが複数のサブフレームからなり、少なくともある表示負荷率のときに、あるサブフレームにおいて、組となった2つのセルが同時に点灯し同時に非点灯となり、その点灯時の発光強度の比が1と異なる割合である。
