Abstract:
(EN) The present invention discloses an optical apparatus capable of reproducing/recording information from/to an optical carrier, e.g. a DVD or BD disk. The apparatus has control means for positioning/focusing a radiation beam (5) on the carrier and photo detection means for detection of radiation reflected from the carrier. Additionally, defect detection means (DEFO) for detection of surface defect areas (Al, A2) can indicate where surface defects, e.g. scratches etc., are present. Processing means are adapted for integrating, and preferably differentiate, error signals (RE, FE) immediately after the beam (5.b) is exiting a defect area (Al) for generating adaptive control signals (AD_ RE, AD_ FE). The optical system is adapted to apply the adaptive control signals (AD_ RE, AD_ FE) when the beam is positioned in the defect area (Al) again, thereby reducing off-track deviation as the beam (5.d) exits the defect area (Al).
(FR) L'invention concerne un dispositif optique permettant de restituer des données à partir d'un support optique et d'enregistrer des données sur un tel support, p. ex. disque DVD ou BD. Le dispositif comporte des moyens de commande permettant de positionner/concentrer un faisceau (5) de rayonnement sur le support, et des moyens de photodétection pour détecter le rayonnement réfléchi par le support. De plus, un système de détection de défaut (DEFO) permettant de détecter les zones (A1, A2) de surface défectueuses indique la présence des défauts de surface, p. ex. rayures etc. Des moyens de traitement conçus pour intégrer, et de préférence différencier des signaux d'erreur (RE, FE) immédiatement après la sortie du faisceau (5.b) de la zone défectueuse (A1), produisent des signaux de commande (AD_ RE, AD_ FE) adaptatifs. Ce système optique applique les signaux de commande adaptatifs (AD_ RE, AD_ FE) lorsque le faisceau est à nouveau positionné dans la zone défectueuse (A1), ce qui permet de réduire la déviation par rapport à la piste au moment où le faisceau (5.d) sort de la zone défectueuse (A1).
