Abstract:
(EN) Radiation guided by Total Internal Reflection inside a solid element from a point of engagement of a reflecting/emitting/scattering object and toward a detector reaches an area of the solid element on which the surface has areas preventing reflection of the radiation back into the element. This provides a spatial modulation of the radiation reaching the detector through one of the surfaces of the solid element. From this spatial modulation, the position of engagement may be determined.
(FR) Rayonnement guidé par réflexion interne totale à l'intérieur d'un élément solide, depuis un point d'engagement d'objet à réflexion/émission/diffusion vers un détecteur, qui atteint une zone de l'élément solide sur laquelle la surface présente des parties empêchant la réflexion de rayonnement en retour vers l'intérieur de l'élément. Il s'ensuit une modulation spatiale du rayonnement atteignant le détecteur via l'une de surfaces de l'élément solide. On peut déterminer la position de l'engagement à partir de cette modulation spatiale.
