(EN)A multicolour LED lighting circuit (10) that includes LED loads (14, 16, 18), preferably of the primary additive colours red, green and blue, which are powered by respective power supply controllers (20, 22, 24) having feedback circuits (32, 34, 36) to provide independently to each LED load a substantially constant but variable direct current. Each power supply controller (20, 22, 24) is uniquely operable by a variable reference voltage from a microprocessor (12) and thus all are independently controllable to allow independent control over the light intensity output of each LED load and thus a very large range of colour outputs is possible from the LED loads as viewed together. The circuit (10) provides for a continuously variable intensity adjustment for each LED load and avoids flicker in the lighting.
