Abstract:
(EN) A fixed-optics system for detecting fluorescence light emitted from one or more spatially selected volumes (S), e.g., in one or more microfluidic channels, comprises a detection optical fiber (60) corresponding to each selected volume and a ball lens (110) adjacent to one end of each optical fiber, wherein the ball lens has a diameter (D) larger than the diameter of the optical fiber and a distance (dl) between the ball lens and the optical fiber is in a range of 3 to 40 times the diameter of the optical fiber, so that due to a quasi-focusing configuration light emitted from the spatially selected volume and received by the ball lens converges onto the end (60a) of the optical fiber.
(FR) L'invention concerne un système à optique fixe pour détecter une lumière fluorescente émise par un ou plusieurs volumes (S) sélectionnés dans l'espace, par exemple dans un ou plusieurs canaux microfluidiques. Ce système comprend une fibre optique de détection (60) correspondant à chaque volume sélectionné, ainsi qu'une lentille sphérique (110) adjacente à une extrémité de chaque fibre optique, cette lentille sphérique présentant un diamètre (D) supérieur au diamètre de la fibre optique. La distance (d1) entre la lentille sphérique et la fibre optique est comprise entre 3 et 40 fois le diamètre de la fibre optique de sorte que, en raison d'une configuration de quasi-focalisation, la lumière émise par le volume sélectionné dans l'espace et reçue par la lentille sphérique converge sur l'extrémité (60a) de la fibre optique.
