Abstract:
(EN) Machine executable method of analyzing growth curve data to identify the transition from a baseline phase into a growth phase. Applications of the method include analysis of results from time-dependent monitoring of amplicon synthesis in a nucleic acid amplification reaction to quantify a starting amount of a nucleic acid template in a test sample. The method advantageously simplifies the quantitation by circumventing the need to establish thresholds used for calculating initiation of the growth phase, to calculate derivatives, or to perform linear regression analysis.
(FR) La présente invention a trait à un procédé exécutable par machine d'analyse de données de courbe de croissance pour identifier la transition depuis une ligne de base vers une phase de croissance. Des applications du procédé comprennent l'analyse de résultats à partir du suivi dans le temps de la synthèse d'amplicons dans une réaction d'amplification d'acides nucléiques pour quantifier une quantité initiale d'une matrice d'acides nucléiques dans un échantillon pour essai. De manière avantageuse, le procédé simplifie la quantification en contournant la nécessité d'établir des seuils utilisés pour le calcul de l'initiation de la phase de croissance, pour calculer des dérivés, ou pour réaliser une analyse de régression linéaire.
