Abstract:
(EN) A biosensor substrate structure is provided that eliminates the effects of optical interference of light reflected from a substrate/air interface with light reflected by the biosensor's active surface (12) by incorporating a roughened or 'non-specular' surface on the side of the substrate (16) opposite the biosensor' s illumination and detection apparatus (30, 38). One can generate a useful non-specular'anti-interference' surface in a number of ways in accordance with this disclosure, including (1) by adding a coating (40) of optically diffuse material, such as UV cured acrylate, to the sensor substrate (16), (2) etching or otherwise roughening the surface (17) of the sensor substrate (16), or (3) applying a grating structure to the surface (17).
(FR) La présente invention concerne une structure de substrat de biocapteur qui élimine les effets de l’interférence optique de la lumière réfléchie depuis une interface substrat/air avec la lumière réfléchie par la surface active du biocapteur (12) par incorporation d’une surface rendue rugueuse ou 'non-lisse' sur le côté du substrat (16) opposé à l’appareil d’illumination et de détection du biocapteur (30, 38). On peut générer une surface “anti-interférence” non-lisse utile de plusieurs manières conformément à cette découverte, notamment (1) en ajoutant un revêtement (40) de matériau optiquement diffus, tel que l’acrylate durci aux UV, au substrat du capteur (16), (2) en gravant ou en rendant rugueuse d’une autre manière la surface (17) du substrat du capteur (16), ou (3) en appliquant une structure de réseau à la surface (17).
