Abstract:
(EN) A method and system that provides for minute-to-minute EBC pH monitoring (or for other EBC characteristic monitoring) of a subject that greatly assists in determining the time-course of airway pH changes (or other characteristic changes) in evolving disease processes, and may assist in determining the predictive ability of these tests, as well as determining response to therapy.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de surveiller minute par minute le pH de EBC (ou de surveiller d'autre caractéristique de EBC) d'un sujet et contribuant de manière conséquente à la détermination du temps-évolution de changements de pH des voies aériennes (ou d'autres changements de caractéristiques) dans des processus de maladies évolutives et pouvant contribuer à la détermination de la capacité de prévision de ces tests et à la détermination de réponse à un traitement.
