Abstract:
(EN) This invention provides a glass having a refractive index and a coefficient of thermal expansion close to those of quartz glass and having anti-devitrification properties good enough to avoid the development of defects such as devitrification on the surface of the glass upon wire drawing or re-hot molding, more specifically an optical glass for use in optical communication device, particularly an optical glass for a stub. The optical glass is characterized by comprising a borosilicate glass having a refractive index of 1.44 to 1.46, a coefficient of thermal expansion of 10 to 50 × 10-7/ºC, and a liquid phase viscosity of not less than 105.5 dPa·s.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un verre qui présente un indice de réfraction et un coefficient de dilatation thermique proche de ceux du verre de silice et qui possède des propriétés d'anti-dévitrification suffisantes pour éviter l'apparition de défauts tels que la dévitrification à la surface du verre lors du tréfilage ou moulage à chaud et, plus spécifiquement, un verre optique utilisé dans des dispositifs de communication optique, notamment un verre optique pour segment de ligne. Ledit verre optique se caractérise en ce qu'il comprend un verre de borosilicate possédant un indice de réfraction de 1,44 à 1,46, un coefficient de dilatation thermique de 10 à 50 × 10-7/ºC et une viscosité de phase liquide égale ou supérieure à 105,5 dPa.s.
(JA)  屈折率、熱膨張係数が、それぞれ石英ガラスのそれに近く、さらに線引き成形や再加熱成形しても、失透等の欠陥がガラス表面に発現しない程度の良好な耐失透性を兼ね備えたガラス、具体的には、光通信用デバイスに使用される光学ガラス、特にスタブに使用する光学ガラスを提供すること。  本発明の光学ガラスは、屈折率が1.44~1.46、熱膨張係数が10~50×10-7/°C、液相粘度が105.5dPa・s以上のホウ珪酸ガラスからなることを特徴とする。
