Abstract:
(EN) A honeycomb structure (20) comprising two or more honeycomb units (10) having a plurality of trough holes (12) arranged in parallel along the longitudinal direction, and sealing material layers (26) for bonding the units (10) at outer surfaces (13) where the trough holes (12) are not opened. Assuming the product of the apparent density of the honeycomb unit (10) and the volume ratio of the honeycomb units (10) to the entirety is A (g/cm3), the product of the apparent density of the sealing material layer (26) and the volume ratio of the sealing material layers (26) to the entirety is B (g/cm3), and the specific surface area per unit volume of the honeycomb structure (20) is C (m2/L), the following expression (1) is satisfied by the honeycomb structure (20); 2≤A/B≤0.0002×C+5(28000≤C). Consequently, purification performance of exhaust gas can be enhanced by holding the temperature with the sealing material layers (26) covering the outer circumferences of the units (10).
(FR) La présente invention concerne une structure en nid d’abeille (20) comprenant deux unités en nid d’abeille (10), ou plus, possédant une pluralité de trous traversants (12) disposés parallèlement le long de la direction longitudinale, et des couches de matériau d’étanchéité (26) pour lier les unités (10) à leurs surfaces externes (13) à l’endroit où les trous traversants (12) ne sont pas ouverts. En supposant que le produit de la densité apparente de l’unité en nid d’abeille (10) et le rapport volumétrique de toutes les unités en nid d’abeille (10) est A (g/cm3), le produit de la densité apparente de la couche de matériau d’étanchéité (26) et le rapport volumétrique des toutes les couches de matériau d’étanchéité (26) est B (g/cm3), et la zone de surface spécifique par unité de volume de la structure en nid d’abeille (20) est C (m2/L), l’expression suivante (1) est alors satisfaite par la structure en nid d’abeille (20) : 2≤A/B≤0.0002×C+5(28000≤C). Par conséquent, la capacité de purification du gaz d’échappement peut être augmentée en maintenant la température à l’aide des couches de matériau d’étanchéité (26) en couvrant les circonférences externes des unités (10).
(JA)  ハニカム構造体20は、長手方向に沿って並列する複数の貫通孔12を有する2以上のハニカムユニット10と、ユニット10を貫通孔12が開口していない外面13で接合するシール材層26とを備えている。ハニカム構造体20は、ハニカムユニット10の見掛け密度と全体に占めるハニカムユニット10の体積割合との積をA(g/cm3)、シール材層26の見掛け密度と全体に占めるシール材層26の体積割合との積をB(g/cm3)、ハニカム構造体20の単位体積あたりの比表面積をC(m2/L)としたとき2≦A/B≦0.0002×C+5(28000≦C);式(1)を充足している。このため、ユニット10の外周を覆うシール材層26により温度を保持させて排ガスの浄化性能を高めることができる。
