(EN)A wet-screenable particulate fuel includes an admixture of fine coal and hydrophobic organic material as a binder. The fuel has a mechanical fragmentation value of less than about 60 % and a thermal fragmentation value of less than about 65 %. The invention extends to a process for producing the particulate fuel, and to a process for producing raw synthesis gas.
(FR)Selon l'invention, un carburant particulaire criblable par voie humide renferme un mélange d'un charbon fin et une matière organique hydrophobe comme liant. Ce carburant possède une valeur de fragmentation mécanique inférieure à environ 60 % et une valeur de fragmentation thermique inférieure à environ 65 %. Cette invention a aussi pour objet un processus de production du carburant particulaire et un processus de production d'un gaz de synthèse brut.
