Abstract:
(EN) A full bridge circuit (10) comprises first (TR2, TR3) and second (TRl, TR4) pairs of parallel connected one-way, switching devices, each respective said switching device (TR1, TR4) of the second pair being connected in series with a respective said switching device (TR2, TR3) of the first said pair to define two switchable parallel conducting paths. A load (11) is connected so as to bridge the parallel conducting paths between the said switching devices (TR2, TR3) of the first pair and the said switching devices (TRl, TR4) of the second pair, and the circuit is connectable so as to apply an alternating current to flow in the parallel conducting paths. The circuit is characterised in that the switching devices (TR2, TR3) of the first pair are field effect transistor (FET) devices; and the switching devices of the second pair (TRl, TR4) are insulated gate bipolar transistor (IGBT) devices.
(FR) L'invention concerne un circuit en pont complet (10) qui comprend une première (TRI, TRI) et une seconde paire (TRI, TRI) de dispositifs de commutation unidirectionnels reliés en parallèle, chacun desdits dispositifs de commutation respectif (TRI, TRI) de la seconde paire étant relié en série avec l'un desdits dispositifs de commutation respectif (TRI, TRI) de ladite première paire, afin de définir deux tracés conducteurs parallèles pouvant être commutés. Une charge (11) est reliée de façon à ponter les tracés conducteurs parallèles entre lesdits dispositifs de commutation (TRI, TRI) de la première paire et lesdits dispositifs de commutation (TRI, TRI) de la second paire, et l'on peut connecter le circuit de façon à appliquer un courant alternatif pour qu'il circule dans les tracés conducteurs parallèles. Le circuit est caractérisé en ce que les dispositifs de commutation (TRI, TRI) de la première paire sont des transistors à effet de champ (ET) et les dispositifs de commutation de la seconde paire (TRI, TRI) sont des transistors bipolaires à grille isolée (IGBT).
