Abstract:
(EN) The invention concerns a granular composition designed to be reacted with water to form a refractory material, characterized in that it comprises an anhydrite III hydraulic binder and an alumina-based granular material. The invention aims at making a cold-processed refractory material which does not necessarily have to be cured prior to use, said material having very good refractory and mechanical properties for high (>1000°C) and very high (>1600°C) temperatures.
(FR) L'invention a pour objet une composition granuleuse destinée à réagir avec de l'eau pour former un matériau réfractaire, se caractérisant par le fait qu'elle comprend un liant hydraulique à base d'anhydrite III et un granulat à base d'alumine. L'objectif de la présente invention est de fabriquer un matériau réfractaire façonné à froid, qui n'est pas nécessairement cuit avant utilisation, ledit matériau possédant de très bonnes propriétés réfractaires et mécaniques pour les hautes (>1000°C) et les très hautes températures (>1600°C).
