Abstract:
(EN) The invention relates to a photomultiplier tube (1) which comprises a plurality of paths and is provided with an envelope (4) with a wall (5) forming a transparency window having an internal face (7), and a plane external face (6), an axial direction being perpendicular to the external face (6). Said photomultiplier tube comprises: a photocathode (2), and a set of other electrodes especially including electrode means for distributing the electrons between the various paths and a stack (30) of multiplying stages (90, 91), a first stage (90) comprising a first dynode (31). The invention is characterised in that each stage (90, 91) comprises conductive parts comprising an accelerating film (21) and a multiplying film (22) which are parallel to the external face (6), and in that the electrode means for distributing the electrons between the various paths are formed by the accelerating film (21) of the first stage (90).
(FR) Tube (1) photomultiplicateur (1) à plusieurs voies comportant une enveloppe (4) ayant une paroi (5) formant fenêtre de transparence ayant une face interne (7), une face externe (6) plane, une direction axiale étant perpendiculaire à la face externe (6), comportant, - une photocathode (2) un ensemble d'autres électrodes dont notamment : des moyens d'électrode pour répartir les électrons dans les différentes voies, un empilement (30) d'étages multiplicateurs (90, 91) dont, un premier étage (90) comportant une première dynode (31), caractérisé en ce que, chaque étage (90, 91) comporte des parties conductrices comportant une feuille accélératrice (21) et une feuille multiplicatrice (22) parallèles à la face externe (6), et en ce que les moyens d'électrode pour répartir les électrons dans les différentes voies sont constitués par la feuille accélératrice (21) du premier étage (90).
