A wireless communication device (10) is provided with a first communication section (36a) connected with a wide area wireless communication network; a second communication section (36c) connected with a narrow area wireless communication network; and processing sections (32, 34) which process communication being performed by the first communication section (36a) to be continuously performed by the second communication section (36c) when an area close to a communication area boundary of the wide area wireless communication network performing communication is detected, at the time of performing communication with the wide area wireless communication network through the first communication section (36a).

L’invention concerne un dispositif de communication sans fil (10) comprenant un premier module de communication (36a) relié à un réseau de communication sans fil étendu, un deuxième module de communication (36c) relié à un réseau de communication sans fil local et des modules de traitement (32, 34). Ces derniers font en sorte que la communication réalisée par le premier module de communication (36a) soit prise en charge en continu par le deuxième module de communication (36c) en cas de détection d’une zone proche de la limite de zone de communication du réseau de communication sans fil étendu, lorsque le premier module de communication (36a) opère la communication avec le réseau de communication sans fil étendu.
