(EN)The invention provides an extremely sensitive, reliable, and adaptable detection method of chemical detection through signal amplification from a reporter reagent capable of selectively binding to the target chemical of interest. The invention utilizes a detection reagent containing a streptavidin-biotin complex or a particle that has been derivatized to include on its surface selective binding compounds that specifically bind to the target chemical species and a large number of copies of a pre-selected reporter moiety.
(FR)L'invention concerne un procédé de détection chimique extrêmement sensible, fiable, et adaptable par le biais d'une amplification de signal à partir d'un réactif rapporteur pouvant se lier de manière sélective au produit chimique cible concerné. On utilise un réactif de détection contenant un complexe streptavidine-biotine ou une particule que l'on a dérivée de façon à inclure sur sa surface des composants de liaison sélectifs qui se lient spécifiquement à l'espèce chimique cible concernée et à un grand nombre de copies d'une fraction rapporteur présélectionnée.
