(EN)An apparatus and method for rapid thermal cycling including a thermal block manufactured by metal-injection molding (MIM). The thermal cycling of a biological product can be rapidly achieved by including a MIM thermal block with a thermoelectric module thermally coupled to the thermoelectric module, and a resistive heater thermally coupled to the thermal block.
(FR)L'invention se rapporte à un appareil et à un procédé de cyclage thermique rapide comprenant un bloc thermique fabriqué par moulage par injection métallique (MIM). Il est possible de réaliser le cyclage thermique d'un produit biologique plus rapidement en introduisant un bloc thermique MIM pourvu d'un module thermoélectrique couplé thermiquement au bloc thermique, un dissipateur de chaleur couplé thermiquement au module thermoélectrique et une résistance chauffante couplée thermiquement au bloc thermique.
