The apparatus for blood flow control in an extracorporeal circuit comprises: a user interface for setting a desired blood flow value (qbREAL) and a datum relating to the vascular access, a memory for recording a plurality of mathematical relations having mathematical expressions relating to the vascular access organ to be used, and a control unit. The control unit identifies the vascular access, selects, from among the plurality of mathematical relations present in the memory, a relation which corresponds to the vascular access identified, and calculates, as a mathematical function of the set value for the desired flow (qbREAL), a value at which to set the angular velocity of the pump associated to the extracorporeal circuit and/or a theoretical value of the arterial pressure upstream of the pump.

L'invention concerne un appareil de régulation du débit sanguin dans un circuit extracorporel comprenant une interface utilisateur permettant de déterminer une valeur de débit sanguin désirée (qbREAL) et une donnée concernant l'accès vasculaire, une mémoire permettant d'enregistrer une pluralité de relations mathématiques avec des expressions mathématiques concernant l'organe associé à l'accès vasculaire utilisé, et une unité de commande. L'unité de commande identifie l'accès vasculaire, sélectionne parmi la pluralité de relations mathématiques présentes dans la mémoire une relation correspondant à l'accès vasculaire identifié, et calcule, comme fonction mathématique de la valeur déterminée de débit désiré (qbREAL), une valeur sur laquelle établir la vitesse angulaire de la pompe associée au circuit extracorporel, et/ou une valeur théorique de la pression artérielle en amont de la pompe.
