Abstract
(EN) This invention is a data processing/visualization method which includes the software development and operation to apply to any multi- dimensional separation. The GC-MS analysis of diesel is an example to demonstrate this software development and operation. The steps of this method includes (1) displaying the total ion chromatogram obtained from a GC-MS experiment, (2) displaying each mass spectrum versus retention time, (3) selecting a normal paraffin family as the reference compound family for relative polarity display, (4) transforming every mass slice to line-up normal paraffin compound family in the same relative retention time (position), (5) rotating the axis to best display the two (multi) dimensional data.
(FR) L'invention concerne un procédé de traitement/visualisation de données qui comprend un développement et une opération de logiciel destiné à être appliqué à n'importe quelle séparation multidimensionnelle. L'analyse CG-SM de diesel est un exemple démontrant ce développement et cette opération de logiciel. Ce procédé consiste : (1) à afficher le chromatogramme ionique total issu d'une expérience CG-SM; (2) à afficher chaque spectre de masse en regard du temps de rétention; (3) à sélectionner une famille de paraffine normale en tant que famille de composés de référence pour un affichage de polarité relatif; (4) à transformer chaque tranche de masse afin d'aligner la famille de composés de paraffine normale dans le même temps (position) de rétention relatif; (5) à faire tourner l'axe afin de mieux afficher les données bi(multi)dimensionnelles.
