Abstract
(EN) An in-situ monitoring system is engaged with a mechanical system for which it is desired to assess or monitor the in-situ performance of the mechanical system. The in-situ monitoring system includes at least one input sensor and at least one output sensor for collecting data corresponding, respectively, to input into, and output from, the mechanical system. The monitoring system also includes an analyzer that utilizes the input and output data to generate an in-situ response representation of the mechanical system. The in-situ representation may be used to make a decision regarding the status of the mechanical system, e.g., to replace all or part of it, to adjust it or to do nothing. In one embodiment, the analyzer is programmed to adapt to the operating conditions of the mechanical system by automatically selecting which one of a number of target representations should be used to characterize the in-situ representation.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système de contrôle in situ qui est engagé avec un système mécanique dont on souhaite évaluer ou contrôler la performance in situ. Le système de contrôle in situ comprend au moins un capteur d'entrée et au moins un capteur de sortie pour collecter des données correspondant respectivement à une entrée dans le système mécanique ou à une sortie du système mécanique. Le système de contrôle comprend également un analyseur qui utilise les données d'entrée et de sortie afin de produire une représentation de réponse in situ du système mécanique. Cette représentation in situ peut être utilisée pour prendre une décision concernant l'état du système mécanique, par exemple afin de remplacer tout ou partie du système, afin de le régler ou afin de ne rien faire. Dans un mode de réalisation, l'analyseur est programmé pour s'adapter aux conditions de fonctionnement du système mécanique en sélectionnant automatiquement quelle représentation parmi un certain nombre de représentations cibles devrait être utilisée pour caractériser la représentation in situ.
