Abstract
(EN) A syntactic foam and water-based explosive comprising glass microbubbles formed by heating feed having a size distribution with a span of less than 0.9 that are dispersed in a polymeric matrix or emulsion explosive. A method for making glass microbubbles, syntactic foam and water-based explosives is described.
(FR) L'invention porte sur une mousse syntactique et sur un explosif à base d'eau comprenant des microbulles de verre obtenues par l'alimentation en chaleur et dont la granulométrie est inférieure à 0,9, ces microbulles étant dispersées dans une matrice polymère ou un explosif à émulsion. L'invention porte également sur un procédé de fabrication de microbulles de verre, de mousses syntactiques et d'explosifs à base d'eau.
