Abstract
(EN) Apparatus (2) and method for measuring the distance between features within an ultrasound image (10), for example of the fetal nuchal region includes means for locating features of peak intensity. A feature location device in the form of a neural network (26) may be provided for locating peaks of intensity and for locating trailing and leading edges within the selected region of the image.
(FR) L'invention concerne un appareil (2) et un procédé destinés à mesurer la distance entre des éléments dans une image ultrasonore (10), telle qu'une image de la région nucale foetale, et comprenant une unité destinée à localiser des éléments d'intensité maximale. Un dispositif de localisation d'éléments sous la forme d'un réseau neuronal (26) peut être utilisé pour localiser des crêtes d'intensité et pour localiser des bords arrière et des bords avant dans la région sélectionnée de l'image.
