(EN)The invention provides a method of producing an organic electroluminescent device comprising applying a composition containing an organic electroluminescent compound onto multiple electrodes to form an organic electroluminescent layer on each of the electrodes, wherein the substrate on which the composition is applied is a substrate with the portions between electrodes and/or the surface of the electrodes having been subjected to water-repellent treatment. By using this method, deterioration of a device and reduction in performance due to existence of an insulating layer which is indispensable for segregation of each polymer light-emitting compound in conventional process of applying polymer light-emitting compounds can be avoided.
(FR)L’invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d’un dispositif électroluminescent organique consistant à appliquer une composition contenant un composé électroluminescent organique sur de multiples électrodes pour constituer une couche électroluminescente organique sur chacune des électrodes, où le substrat sur lequel on applique la composition est un substrat dont les portions situées entre les électrodes et/ou la surface des électrodes ont été soumises à un traitement hydrophobe. Ce procédé permet d’éviter toute détérioration d’un dispositif et toute baisse des performances liée à la présence d’une couche isolante qui est indispensable à la ségrégation de chaque composé électroluminescent polymère lors du processus conventionnel d’application de composés électroluminescents polymères.
