Abstract:
(EN) A system for guiding resurfacing operations on at least a portion of a joint of at least one bone is provided and uses a guide with actuators (motors) controlled by a computer to position a cutting tool relative to a bone so that the bone surface can be cut in a flexible and accurate manner.
(FR) La présente invention concerne un système permettant de guider des opérations de restauration de la surface d'au moins une partie d'une articulation d'au moins un os. Le système décrit dans cette invention comprend un guide pourvu d'actionneurs (moteurs) commandés par un ordinateur de manière à positionner un outil tranchant par rapport à un os de telle sorte que la surface de l'os puisse être coupée de manière souple et précise.
