Abstract

An airbag deployment circuit includes at single current regulator (22) controlling multiple squib deployment circuits (24). Squib deployment circuits (24) that do not have to deploy simultaneously are attached to the same current regulator (22). A current regulation switch (30) located prior to each current regulator (22) is closed if any of the squib deployment circuits (24) attached to the associated current regulator (22) need to be deployed in a crash event. A high side transistor switch (26) and a low side transistor switch (28) are located adjacent each squib to control activation of that squib deployment circuit (24). The high side transistor switch (25) and the low side transistor switch (28) are also closed for each of the squib deployment circuits (24) that are to be deployed.

Un circuit de déploiement d'airbag comprend un seul régulateur de courant (22) contrôlant de multiples circuits de déploiement à amorçage (24). Des circuits de déploiement à amorçage (24) qui n'ont pas à se déployer simultanément sont liés au même régulateur de courant (22). Un commutateur de régulation de courant (30) pré-agencé à chaque régulateur de courant (22) est fermé si l'un quelconque des circuits de déploiement à amorçage (24) lié au régulateur de courant associé (22) doit se déployer en cas de collision.
