Enediyne compounds of the formula: (1) characterized in that the structure thereof is very simple and the production process is easy, and that the molecular length thereof is shorter than those of compounds having been proposed. Consequently, electrode assemblies comprising any of these enediyne compounds are highly promising in the application to nanomolecular wiring (nanomolecular wire) whose production has been difficult.

Composés ène-diyne de formule : (1) caractérisés en ce que leur structure est très simple, leur procédé de production est aisé, et leur longueur moléculaire est plus courte que celle de composés proposés jusque-là. Par conséquent, des assemblages d’électrode comprenant l’un quelconque de ces composés ène-diyne sont très prometteurs en ce qui concerne leur application au câblage nanomoléculaire (fil nanomoléculaire), dont la production était jusqu'ici difficile.
