An optical disc is characterized in that an image recording layer and a first cover layer are successively formed on one side of a substrate, and an information recording layer and a second cover layer are successively formed on the other side of the substrate. The thickness of the first cover layer and that of the second cover layer are preferably substantially the same. The material of the first cover layer and that of the second cover layer are preferably the same. The material of the first cover layer and the second cover layer is preferably cellulose triacetate.

Disque optique étant caractérisé en ce qu’une couche d’enregistrement d’image et une première couche de fermeture sont formées successivement sur une face d’un substrat, et une couche d’enregistrement d’information et une seconde couche de fermeture sont formées successivement sur l’autre face du substrat. L’épaisseur de la première couche de fermeture et celle de la seconde couche de fermeture sont de préférence pratiquement les mêmes. Le matériau de la première couche de fermeture et celui de la seconde couche de fermeture sont de préférence pratiquement les mêmes. Le matériau de la première couche de fermeture et de la seconde couche de fermeture est de préférence du triacétate de cellulose.
