A drive control circuit (520d) supplies power to a solenoid coil (111#1 - 111#4) in an in-cylinder injector of a cylinder (#1 - #4) in response to a fuel injection signal (IJt-d1 - IJt-d4). A failure detection circuit (530d, 535d) to detect disconnection failure at an in-cylinder injector is arranged to be shared among cylinders whose phase of each stroke differs 360 degrees in crank angle. An engine ECU (300) detects failure including identification of the injector with disconnection failure based on a failure detection signal (IJf-da, IJf-db) from the failure detection circuit (530d, 535d), and a crank angle (CA) detected by a crank angle sensor (480). The driver is notified of the failure detection result through the engine ECU (300).

Selon l'invention, un circuit de commande d'entraînement (520d) fournit de l'énergie à une bobine solénoïde (111#1-111#4) située dans un injecteur dans le cylindre d'un cylindre (#1-#4), en réponse à un signal d'injection de carburant (IJt-d1 IJt-d4). Un circuit de détection de défaillance (530d, 535d), destiné à détecter une défaillance de déconnexion au niveau d'un injecteur dans le cylindre, est adapté de manière à être partagé entre des cylindres dont la phase de chaque course diffère de 360° d'angle de vilebrequin. Un bloc de commande électronique (300) du moteur détecte les défaillances, et identifie notamment l'injecteur présentant une défaillance de déconnexion, sur la base d'un signal de détection de défaillance (IJf-da IJf-db) émanant du circuit de détection de défaillance (530d, 535d) et d'un angle de vilebrequin (CA) détecté par un capteur de position du vilebrequin (480). Le conducteur est ainsi informé du résultat de la détection de la défaillance par l'intermédiaire du bloc de commande électronique (300) du moteur.
