A method of forming an organic compound layer for production of organic EL device that realizes high quality and high productivity without cost increase; a relevant process for producing an organic EL device; and a relevant organic EL device. There is provided a method of forming an organic compound layer of organic EL device by the use of production apparatus including a supply section, a coating/drying section and a recovery section, characterized in that strip-shaped flexible support (A) furnished with a positive electrode layer including a first electrode in roll form is fed to the supply section; and that the production apparatus has the coating/drying section of at least one unit, the one unit consisting of a coating part capable of forming a coating film for formation of organic compound layer under atmospheric pressure by wet applicator and a drying part capable of forming an organic compound layer under atmospheric pressure; and that at least one organic compound layer is formed on the positive electrode layer by means of the coating/drying section to thereby obtain strip-shaped flexible support (B), which is taken up in roll form round a winding core in the recovery section.

L’invention concerne un procédé de formation de couche composée organique pour la fabrication d'un dispositif EL organique haute qualité et haute productivité sans augmentation des coûts ; un procédé approprié pour la fabrication d’un dispositif EL organique ; et un dispositif EL organique approprié. Le procédé de formation de couche composée organique de dispositif EL organique implique l'utilisation d'un appareil de fabrication comprenant une section d’alimentation, une section de revêtement/séchage et une section de récupération, et est caractérisé en ce qu'un support flexible en forme de bande (A) pourvu d’une couche d’électrode positive comprenant une première électrode en forme de rouleau est injecté dans la section d’alimentation ; en ce que l’appareil de fabrication possède la section de revêtement/séchage d’au moins une unité, cette unité consistant en une partie revêtement capable de former un film d’enduction pour la formation d’une couche composée organique à la pression atmosphérique au moyen d'un applicateur humide et une partie séchage capable de former une couche composée organique à la pression atmosphérique ; et en ce qu’au moins une couche composée organique est formée sur la couche d’électrode positive au moyen de la section de revêtement/séchage pour ainsi obtenir un support flexible en forme de bande (B), que l'on enroule en forme de rouleau sur un noyau de bobinage dans la section de récupération.
