A radio communication system comprises a first radio station (100) and one or more second radio stations (200). When transmitting a signal, the second radio station (200) employs power ramping to increase its transmit power up to a maximum value in a sequence of power steps. The first radio station (100) is able to control the maximum transmit power and rate of increase of transmit power of the second station (200) by transmitting indications of these parameters to the second station (200).

Un système de radiocommunication comprend une première station radio (100) et une ou plusieurs secondes stations radio (200). Lors de la transmission d'un signal, la seconde station radio (200) utilise la variation continue de puissance pour augmenter sa puissance de transmission jusqu'à une valeur maximum en une séquence de niveaux de puissance. La première station radio (100) peut commander la puissance de transmission maximum et la vitesse d'augmentation de la puissance de transmission de la seconde station (200) par transmission des indications de ces paramètres à la seconde station (200).
