Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren sowie eine Vorrichtung zum Herstellen eines zündfähigen Brennstoff-Luftgemisches, dessen Brennstoffanteil aus Wasserstoff oder aus einem Wasserstoff enthaltenden Gasgemisch besteht und das in einer Brenneranordnung zum Antrieb einer Wärmekraftmaschine, insbesondere einer Gasturbinenanlage, verbrannt wird. Die Erfindung zeichnet sich durch folgende Verfahrensschritte aus: Zusammenführen einer Brennstoffströmung und einer Luftströmung unter Ausbildung einer Brennstoff-Luftgemischströmung sowie Bereitstellen einer weiteren Luftströmung, Katalysieren eines Teils der Brennstoff-Luftgemischströmung unter Ausbildung eines teilkatalysierten Brennstoff-Luftgemisches, im Wege einer exothermen katalytisch unterstützen Reaktion des Brennstoffes, deren freigesetzte Wärme zumindest teilweise zur Erwärmung der weiteren Luftströmung genutzt wird, Beimischen der erwärmten weiteren Luftströmung zum teilkatalysierten Brennstoff-Luftgemisch unter Ausbildung eines zündfähigen Brennstoff- Luftgemisches und Zünden und Verbrennen des zündfähigen Brennstoff-Luftgemisches.

The invention relates to a method and a device for producing an explosive fuel/air mixture the fuel portion of which consists of hydrogen or a hydrogen-containing gas mixture and which is combusted in a burner system for driving a heat engine, especially of a gas turbine installation. The invention is characterized by the following steps: combining a flow of fuel and a flow of air, thereby producing a fuel/air mixture flow, and providing an additional flow of air; catalyzing part of the fuel/air mixture flow, thereby producing a partially catalyzed fuel/air mixture in an exothermic catalytically assisted reaction of the fuel, the heat released by this reaction being at least partially used to heat the additional flow of air; admixing the heated additional flow of air to the partially catalyzed fuel/air mixture, thereby producing an explosive fuel/air mixture; and igniting and combusting the explosive fuel/air mixture.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un dispositif de fabrication d'un mélange carburant/air inflammable dont la fraction de carburant est composée d'hydrogène ou d'un mélange gazeux contenant de l'hydrogène, ledit mélange étant brûlé dans un système de brûleur pour l'entraînement d'un moteur thermique, notamment d'un système de turbine à gaz. Le procédé selon l'invention consiste à combiner un courant de carburant et un courant d'air de manière à former un courant de mélange carburant/air ; créer un autre courant d'air ; catalyser une partie du courant de mélange carburant/air de manière à créer un mélange carburant/air partiellement catalysé à la manière d'une réaction exothermique assistée de façon catalytique, dont la chaleur libérée est au moins partiellement employée pour chauffer l'autre courant d'air ; mélanger l'autre courant d'air chauffé au mélange carburant/air partiellement catalysé de manière à produire un mélange carburant/air inflammable ; et, brûler le mélange carburant/air inflammable.
