An apparatus and a method for casting a patterned surface on both sides of an opaque web. The apparatus includes a first patterned roll (18) , a second pattered roll (20) , and a means for rotating the first and second patterned rolls (18,20) such that their patterns are transferred to opposite sides of the web (12) while it is in continuous motion. During this process, their patterns are the first and second patterned rolls (18, 20) comprise a plurality of regions opaque to the curing energy maintained in continuous registration to within at least 100 micrometers.

La présente invention concerne un appareil et un procédé destinés à couler une surface à motif des deux côtés d’une bande opaque. L’appareil comprend un premier rouleau à motif (18), un second rouleau à motif (20), et un moyen pour faire tourner les premier et second rouleaux à motif (18, 20) de sorte que leurs motifs soient transférés à des côtés opposés de la bande (12) alors qu’elle est en mouvement continu. Au cours de ce procédé, leurs motifs sont les premier et second rouleaux à motif (18, 20) qui comprennent une pluralité de régions opaques à l’énergie de séchage maintenues en coïncidence continue comprise au sein d’au moins 100 micromètres.
