Abstract

An inkjet recording element comprises a support having thereon in order, from top to bottom, a fusible, porous layer comprising fusible multifunctional polymer particles derived from an aqueous dispersion that comprise a thermoplastic polymer with at least two reactive functional groups capable of crosslinking with each other. Optionally, an ink-carrier-liquid receptive layer is present between the fusible, porous layer and the support. Also disclosed is a method of inkjet printing on the element.

La présente invention concerne un élément d’enregistrement par jet d’encre comprenant un support sur lequel se trouvent, dans l’ordre, de la partie supérieure à la partie inférieure, un fusible, une couche poreuse comprenant des particules polymères fusibles multifonctionnelles dérivées d’une dispersion aqueuse qui comprennent un polymère thermoplastique, qui comprend au moins deux groupes fonctionnels réactifs capables de se réticuler. De manière facultative, une couche réceptive liquide porteuse d’encre est présente entre le fusible, la couche poreuse et le support. L’invention décrit également un procédé d’impression par jet d’encre sur l’élément.
