The present invention is directed to a trigger mechanism of an electronic weapon. The trigger mechanism eliminates the need of a shooter having to master the pulling of the trigger of a rifle with the tip of his index finger and also minimizes the importance of proper breathing techniques when firing the rifle. The trigger mechanism of the electronic weapon has two major components. The first is a mouth operated switch (20) that facilitates the firing of the electronic rifle. The second piece is the electronic rifle (16). The two pieces might be connected using an electrical cord (28) or a radio frequency.

L'invention concerne un mécanisme de détente conçu pour une arme électronique. Grâce à ce mécanisme de détente, l'utilisateur n'a plus besoin de savoir appuyer sur la détente d'un fusil avec le bout de son index. En outre, ledit mécanisme de détente réduit au maximum l'importance de techniques de respiration adaptées lors du tir. Le mécanisme de détente selon l'invention comporte deux composants principaux. Le premier composant se présente sous la forme d'un commutateur à commande buccale (20) qui facilite le tir. Le fusil électronique (16) constitue le deuxième composant. Ces deux composants peuvent être reliés par un cordon électrique (28) ou par radiofréquence.
