An aromatic amine derivative having a diphenylamino group whose benzene rings each have two or more substituents bonded thereto, represented by the general formula: (1) wherein each of A1 to A4 is a hydrogen atom, etc.; each of a to d is an integer of 0 to 3; each of A5 to A12 is an alkyl, etc.; and each of R1 to R10 is a hydrogen atom, etc. Further, there is provided an organic electroluminescence device having one or more organic thin-film layers including at least a luminescent layer interposed between a negative electrode and a positive electrode, wherein at least one of the organic thin-film layers contains the above aromatic amine derivative alone or as a component of mixture. As a result, there is obtained an organic electroluminescence device that has long life, exhibiting high luminous efficiency and that is capable of emitting blue light of high color purity, and obtained an aromatic amine derivative for realization of the organic electroluminescence device.

L’invention concerne un dérivé amine aromatique ayant un groupe diphénylamino dont les noyaux de benzène ont chacun deux substituants ou plus liés sur eux, représenté par la formule générale : (1) dans laquelle chacun de A1 à A4 représente un atome d'hydrogène, etc. ; chacun de a à d est un nombre entier de 0 à 3 ; chacun de A5 à A12 représente un groupe alkyle, etc. ; et chacun de R1 à R10 représente un atome d'hydrogène, etc. En outre, l’invention propose un dispositif organique électroluminescent ayant une ou plusieurs couches minces organiques comprenant au moins une couche luminescente interposée entre une électrode négative et une électrode positive, au moins une des couches minces organiques contenant seulement le dérivé amine aromatique ci-dessus ou en tant que composant d’un mélange. En conséquence, on obtient un dispositif organique électroluminescent présentant une longue durée de vie, présentant un rendement de luminosité élevé et étant capable d'émettre de la lumière bleue dont la pureté de couleur est élevée, et on obtient un dérivé amine aromatique destiné à la réalisation du dispositif organique électroluminescent.
