Abstract

The invention relates to a method for the extrusion of thermoplastic polymers comprising alkaline ionic groupings. The inventive method consists in: preparing a mixture comprising (i) a thermoplastic polymer bearing alkaline ionic groupings and (ii) a plasticiser; extruding the mixture thus obtained in order to form a film; and, subsequently, washing the film obtained in an aqueous medium in order to eliminate said plasticiser(s). The aforementioned plasticiser is selected from among non-volatile compounds which are stable in relation to the ionic groupings of the polymer and which are soluble in water or in water-miscible solvents, said plasticiser(s) being selected from among the compounds that act with the ionic grouping of the polymer with the formation of a weak hydrogen-bond-type binding and the compounds that act with the ionic grouping of the polymer with the formation of a strong ionic-bond-type binding.

L'invention concerne un procédé pour l' extrusion de polymères thermoplastiques à groupements ioniques alcalins . Le procédé consiste à préparer un mélange constitué par un polymère thermoplastique à groupements ioniques alcalins et par un plastifiant, à extruder le mélange obtenu pour former un film, puis à laver en milieu aqueux le film obtenu pour éliminer ledit (lesdits) plastifiant (s) . Le plastifiant est choisi parmi les composés non volatils qui sont stables vis-à-vis des groupements ioniques du polymère, qui sont solubles dans l'eau ou dans les solvants miscibles à l'eau, lesdits plastifiants étant choisis parmi les composés agissant avec le groupe ionique du polymère par formation d'une liaison faible de type liaison hydrogène, et les composés agissant avec le groupe ionique du polymère par formation d'une liaison forte, de type liaison ionique.
