Abstract

The invention concerns a method for preparing thermoplastics to obtain a hydrophilic behaviour of the surface of objects made from said thermoplastics. The invention also concerns the additives used to obtain said surface hydrophily, said additives being mixed and jointly melted with the thermoplastics (mass-additivation process). The melted mixtures of thermoplastics and additives are shaped by any conventional means (extrusion, injection, film stretching) to obtain the desired objects. The invention further concerns the uses of said thermoplastic objects with hydrophilized surfaces.

L'invention concerne un procédé de préparation des thermoplastiques permettant d'obtenir un comportement hydrophile de la surface des objets fabriqués avec ces thermoplastiques. Elle concerne également les additifs utilisés pour obtenir cette hydrophilie de surface, lesdits additifs étant mélangés et co-fondus avec les thermoplastiques (additivation dans la masse). Les mélanges fondus des thermoplastiques et des additifs sont mis en forme par tous moyens conventionnels (extrusion, injection, tirage de films...) pour obtenir les objets désirés. L'invention concerne enfin les applications de ces objets en thermoplastiques à surfaces hydrophilisées.
