Verfahren zur Herstellung eines Ethylamins durch Umsetzung von Ethanol mit Ammoniak, einem primären Amin oder einem sekundären Amin in Gegenwart von Wasserstoff und eines Heterogen-Hydrier-/Dehydrier-Katalysators, wobei man ein biochemisch oder biologisch hergestelltes Ethanol (Bio-Ethanol) einsetzt, der Katalysator ein oder mehrere Metalle der Gruppe VIII und/oder IB des Periodensystems enthält und nach Aktivierung mit Wasserstoff eine CO-Auf nahmekapazität von > 100 μmol CO / g Katalysator aufweist.

The invention relates to a method for producing an ethylamine by reacting ethanol with ammonia, with a primary amine or with a secondary amine in the presence of hydrogen or of a heterogeneous hydrogenation/dehydrogenation catalyst, during which a biochemically or biologically produced ethanol (bioethanol) is used. The catalyst contains one or more metals of group VIII and/or IB of the periodic table and after activation with hydrogen, has a CO absorption capacity of > 100 µmol CO/g of catalyst.

L'invention concerne un procédé de fabrication d'une éthylamine par réaction d'éthanol avec de l'ammoniaque, une amine primaire ou une amine secondaire en présence d'hydrogène et d'un catalyseur hétérogène d'hydrogénation/déshydrogénation. Selon l'invention, on fait intervenir de l'éthanol fabriqué de façon biochimique ou biologique (bio-éthanol), et le catalyseur contient un ou plusieurs métaux du groupe VIII et/ou IV du tableau périodique et présente une capacité d'absorption de CO > 100 µmol CO/g de catalyseur après activation avec de l'hydrogène.
