Abstract

A transducer for measuring the pressure of a fluid has a housing having a fluid contact region, a cavity divided from the fluid contact region by a dividing wall, and an aperture through the dividing wall. A sensor component is located in the cavity and has a substrate carrying a pressure sensor. A rigid support block is mounted on the substrate and includes a surface facing the dividing wall off the housing. A spigot from this surface extends into the aperture of the dividing wall. A passage extends through the spigot and the support block to the sensor on the substrate. The passage is filled with a pressure transmitting medium. A resilient seal is located around the spigot and sandwiched between the support block surface and the dividing wall of the housing. A receiver is secured into the housing. The receiver holds the seal, with the spigot in the aperture.

Transducteur destiné à mesurer la pression d'un fluide, doté d'un boîtier présentant une zone de contact avec le fluide, d'une cavité séparée de la zone de contact avec le fluide par une paroi séparatrice, et d'une ouverture à travers la paroi séparatrice. Un composant de capteur est situé dans la cavité et possède un substrat portant un capteur de pression. Un bloc-support rigide est monté sur le substrat et comprend une surface faisant face à la paroi séparatrice du boîtier. Un ergot s'étend à partir de cette surface jusque dans l'ouverture de la paroi séparatrice. Un passage s'étend à travers l'ergot et le bloc-support jusqu'au capteur sur le substrat. Le passage est rempli d'un milieu transmettant la pression. Un joint élastique est situé autour de l'ergot et pris en sandwich entre la surface du bloc-support et la paroi séparatrice du boîtier. Un réceptacle est fixé dans le boîtier. Le réceptacle maintient le joint, avec l'ergot dans l'ouverture.
