Disclosed are a copper wire or a copper electrode protected by a silver thin layer coated on a surface of the copper wire or the copper electrode, and a method for fabricating the copper wire or the copper electrode. A liquid crystal display device and a method for manufacturing the same are also disclosed. After forming the copper wire or the copper electrode on the substrate, a silver thin layer is coated on the surface of the copper wire or the copper electrode, so that the silver thin layer protects copper. Thus, the copper has superior resistance against oxidation reaction or other unnecessary reactions, thereby improving the performance of the copper wire or the copper electrode.

La présente invention concerne un fil de cuivre ou une électrode en cuivre protégé par une mince couche d'argent déposée sur une surface du fil de cuivre ou de l'électrode en cuivre et un procédé de fabrication du fil de cuivre ou de l'électrode en cuivre. Un dispositif d'affichage à cristaux liquides et un procédé de fabrication de ce dernier sont également présentés. Suite à la formation du fil de cuivre ou de l'électrode en cuivre sur le substrat, une mince couche d'argent est déposée sur la surface du fil de cuivre ou de l'électrode en cuivre de sorte que la mince couche d'argent protège le cuivre. De cette manière, le cuivre présente une meilleure résistance à la réaction d'oxydation ou à d'autres réactions non nécessaires, ce qui améliore l'efficacité du fil de cuivre ou de l'électrode en cuivre.
