Abstract

A multi-effect evaporator (10) , having an upstream and a downstream end, adapted for distillation of water. It comprises a plurality of effects (20a a20d) connected in a series manner and arranged into groups. Each group has a common parallel water feed inlet adapted to supply all effects in the group with feed water. The evaporator further includes a main feed water line (11) in fluid communication with the most upstream group. An array of heaters (24) is disposed along the line, adapted for heating the feed water before its entry into the effects of the latter group. Each effect comprises means for forwarding the second outlet vapor into one of the heaters for heating the feed water. Each group comprises a pump (21) adapted to extract the concentrate (23) from the effects of the group and pump it into the common parallel water feed of an adjacent downstream group.

Cette invention concerne un évaporateur à effets multiples (10) comportant une extrémité amont et une extrémité avale et conçu pour distiller l'eau. L'évaporateur comprend une pluralité d'effets (20a à 20d) connectés en série et disposés en groupes. Chaque groupe comprend un orifice d'admission d'alimentation en eau parallèle commun conçu pour alimenter tous les effets du groupe en eau d'alimentation. L'évaporateur comprend également un tuyau d'eau d'alimentation principal (11) en communication fluidique avec le groupe le plus amont. Un réseau d'éléments de chauffage (24), disposé le long du tuyau, est conçu pour chauffer l'eau d'alimentation avant son entrée dans les effets dudit groupe. Chaque effet comprend une unité conçue pour transférer la vapeur du second orifice d'évacuation vers un des éléments de chauffage afin que l'eau d'alimentation soit chauffée. Chaque groupe comprend une pompe (21) conçue pour extraire le concentré (23) des effets du groupe et le pomper dans l'alimentation en eau parallèle commune d'un groupe aval adjacent.
