Abstract

This invention relates to a method and a system for generating a discriminatory signal for a neurological condition, where at least one probe compound that has a neurophysiologic effect is provided. Biosignal data are obtained from a subject based on biosignal measurements obtained from biosignal measuring device adapted for placement on a subject, wherein said biosignal data are obtained posterior to the administering of said probe compound to the subject. Analogous biosignal reference data are provided for reference subjects in at least one reference group posterior to the administering of the probe compound, wherein the reference data are utilized for defining reference features having common characteristics between the reference subjects in the at least one reference group, wherein the reference data are processed for defining reference posterior probability vectors for each respective reference subject, wherein each respective posterior probability vector comprises particular feature or a feature combination elements with probability values associated to said elements, the posterior probability vectors resulting in a distribution of said features or feature combinations for said reference subjects. Subsequently,the biosignal data obtained from the subject are used for calculating analogues posterior probability vector for said subject. The discriminatory signal is then generated based on comparison between said posterior probability vector for said subject and the distribution of said features or feature combinations.

L'invention concerne un procédé et un système permettant de produire un signal discriminatoire pour un état neurologique, au moins un composé de sonde possédant un effet neurophysiologique étant fourni. Des données de biosignaux sont obtenues chez un sujet, en fonction de mesures de biosignaux obtenues au moyen d'un dispositif de mesure de biosignaux conçu pour être placé sur un sujet, les données de biosignaux étant obtenues après l'administration du composé de sonde au sujet. Des données de référence de biosignaux analogiques sont fournies pour des sujets de référence dans au moins un groupe de référence après l'administration du composé de sonde, les données de référence étant utilisées pour définir des caractéristiques de référence possédant des caractéristiques communes entre les sujets de référence dans le groupe de référence, les données de référence étant traitées aux fins de définition de vecteurs de probabilité postérieure de référence pour chaque sujet de référence respectif, lesquels comprennent une caractéristique spécifique ou des éléments de combinaison de caractéristiques comprenant des valeurs de probabilité associées aux éléments, les vecteurs de probabilité postérieure permettant d'obtenir une distribution des caractéristiques ou des combinaisons de caractéristiques des sujets de référence. Puis, les données de biosignaux obtenues du sujet sont utilisées pour calculer un vecteur de probabilité postérieure d'analogues pour le sujet. Le signal discriminatoire est ensuite produit en fonction d'une comparaison entre le vecteur de probabilité postérieure pour le sujet et la distribution des caractéristiques ou des combinaisons de caractéristiques.
