In accordance with the invention, there is a battery defect detection method comprising applying a current ramp to a battery (750), determining a first time (t1) when a current of the battery (750) reaches a maximum current (Ipeak), and determining a second time (t2) when a terminal voltage of the battery (750) reaches a maximum voltage (Vpeak)- The method also includes determining a differential (d), wherein (d) = /(t1) - (t2)/, and wherein (d) corresponds to a magnitude of defects in the battery (750).

La présente invention concerne un procédé de détection des défauts d'un accumulateur qui consiste à appliquer une rampe de courant à un accumulateur (750), à déterminer un premier temps (t1) lorsqu'un courant de l'accumulateur (750) atteint un courant maximum (Ipic) et à déterminer un deuxième temps (t2) lorsqu'une tension aux bornes de l'accumulateur (750) atteint une tension maximum (Vpic).
