A position detector arrangement (100, 200, 900) for detecting a position of a packaging material (312, 512, 712) with magnetic marking (314, 514, 714) is disclosed, comprising a sensor assembly comprising a plurality of magnetic sensor units (102, 204, 205, 206, 207, 304, 305, 306, 307, 504, 505, 506, 507, 704, 705, 706, 707, 804, 805, 807, 906, 907, 908, 1000, 1201, 1202) each comprising an output providing an output signal, wherein said magnetic sensor units are arranged in at least two sensor unit pairs (208, 209, 301, 302, 501, 502, 701, 702) , the sensor units of each pair are arranged with opposite sensitivity directions (308, 309, 310, 311, 508, 509, 510, 511, 708, 709, 710, 711, 808, 809, 811) , and said sensor units are arranged to sense magnetic markings of said packaging material; a signal processing assembly (104) connected to said outputs of said magnetic sensors comprising a combiner (210, 211, 212, 910, 912, 914, 1100, 1203, 1301, 1302, 1303) arranged to aggregate said output signals of said sensors to an aggregated signal; and a detector (104, 214, 916) arranged to determine said position of said packaging material from said aggregated signal .Further, a method for detecting a position of a packaging material with magnetic markings is disclosed.

Dispositif de détection de position (100, 200, 900) d'un matériau d'emballage (312, 512, 712) par marque magnétique (314, 514, 714), comprenant un ensemble détecteur constitué lui-même d'une pluralité d'unités de détection magnétique (102, 204, 205, 206, 207, 304, 305, 306, 307, 504, 505, 506, 507, 704, 705, 706, 707, 804, 805, 807, 906, 907, 908, 1000, 1201, 1202) qui comprennent chacune une sortie produisant un signal de sortie. Lesdites unités de détection sont agencées en au moins deux paires (208, 209, 301, 302, 501, 502, 701, 702). Le unités de détection de chaque pair sont disposées selon des directions de sensibilité opposées (308, 309, 310, 311, 508, 509, 510, 511, 708, 709, 710, 711, 808, 809, 811) de manière à détecter les marques magnétiques dudit matériau d'emballage. Le dispositif comprend également un ensemble traitement de signal (104) connecté aux sorties des capteurs magnétiques, qui comprennent un combinateur (210, 211, 212, 910, 912, 914, 1100, 1203, 1301, 1302, 1303) conçu pour réunir les signaux de sortie de détecteur en un signal agrégé; et un détecteur (104, 214, 916) conçu pour déterminer ladite position du matériau d'emballage à partir du signal agrégé. De plus, l'invention concerne un procédé de détection de la position d'un matériau d'emballage au moyen de marques magnétiques.
