A two-dimensional structure medium comprising a conductor pattern as unit cells formed on the upper surface of a substrate and a conductor pattern formed on the lower surface of the substrate and exhibiting a left-handed characteristic achieved without using a via by utilizing the interaction between an inductance component formed by connecting a part of a floating island pattern out of the conductor pattern on the lower surface of the substrate with a pattern as the ground portion and a capacitance component of parallel-plate mode formed by the conductor pattern on the upper surface of the substrate and the conductor pattern on the lower surface of the substrate.

L'invention concerne un milieu possédant une structure à deux dimensions qui comprend pour cellules unitaires une impression conductrice formée sur la surface supérieure d'un substrat et une impression conductrice formée sur la surface inférieure du substrat, et qui montre une caractéristique gauchère obtenue, sans faire appel à un intermédiaire, en utilisant l'interaction entre une composante inductive formée lorsque l'on connecte une partie du modèle en îlots flottants depuis l'impression conductrice sur la surface inférieure du substrat avec un modèle tel que la partie de mise à la terre et une composante de capacité ayant un mode de plaques parallèles formée par l'impression conductrice sur la surface supérieure du substrat et l'impression conductrice sur la surface inférieure du substrat.
