(FR) METHODE ET DISPOSITIF AMELIORES DE TRAITEMENT DE L'INCONTINENCE
Abstract
(EN)
A medical condition is treated using electrical stimulation of contractile tissue, such as a sphincter, as well as electrical stimulation of afferent nerves to illicite a neuro-modulation response. The device (1) and method is particular useful for treating urge incontinence where the tissue is a smooth muscle neo-sphincter (2) about the urethra and the nerves are in the pelvic region.
(FR)
