(EN)A crosslinkable silane-terminated polymer is provided which includes the reaction product of an isocyanate-terminated prepolymer and a silane possessing a plurality of hydrolysable sites and at least one active hydrogen-containing group which is reactive for isocyanate, the silane upon hydrolysis produces a reduced amount of volatile organic compound compared to that produced by the hydrolysis of a silane possessing an equivalent number of hydrolyzable sites all of which are hydrolyzable alkoxy groups.
(FR)L'invention concerne un polymère à terminaison silane réticulable qui comporte le produit de réaction d'un prépolymère à terminaison isocyanate et un silane possédant plusieurs sites hydrolysables et au moins un groupe contenant de l'hydrogène actif qui réagit à l'isocyanate. Après hydrolyse, le silane produit une quantité réduite de composé organique volatile en comparaison de celui produit par l'hydrolyse d'un silane possédant un nombre équivalent de sites hydrolysables, qui sont tous des groupes alcoxy hydrolysables.
