(EN)Disclosed is a palladium-containing catalyst which enables to highly selectively produce an &agr;,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid from an olefin or an &agr;,&bgr;-unsaturated aldehyde. Also disclosed are a method for producing such a catalyst and a method for producing an &agr;,&bgr;-unsaturated carboxylic acid wherein such a catalyst is used. Specifically disclosed is a palladium-containing catalyst containing 0.001-0.25 mole of antimony element per 1 mole of palladium element or a palladium-containing catalyst containing palladium element, tellurium element and bismuth element which constitute the metal component.
(FR)La présente invention concerne un catalyseur au palladium permettant de produire de manière fortement sélective un acide carboxylique &agr;,&bgr;-insaturé à partir d’une oléfine ou d’un aldéhyde &agr;,&bgr; insaturé. L'invention concerne également un procédé de production d’un tel catalyseur et un procédé de production d’un acide carboxylique &agr;,&bgr;-insaturé, dans lequel un tel catalyseur est utilisé. L'invention concerne spécifiquement un catalyseur au palladium contenant de 0,001 à 0,25 mole d’un élément antimoine pour 1 mole d’élément palladium ou un catalyseur au palladium contenant un élément de palladium, un élément tellure et un élément bismuth qui constituent le composant métallique.
