(EN)The present invention provides micro-fluidic systems, a method for the manufacturing of such a micro-fluidic system and a method for controlling or manipulating a fluid flow through micro-channels of a such a micro-fluidic system. Herefore, an inner side of a wall of a microchannel is provided with actuator elements which can change shape and orientation as a response to an external stimulus. Through this change of shape and orientation the flow of a fluid through a microchannel may be controlled and manipulated.
(FR)L'invention concerne un système microfluidique, un procédé de fabrication de ce système microfluidique ainsi qu'un procédé de commande ou de manipulation d'un écoulement de fluide dans les microcanaux d'un système microfluidique. Ainsi, un côté latéral interne d'un microcanal est pourvu d'éléments de commande qui peuvent changer de forme et d'orientation en réaction à un stimulus externe. Cette modification de forme et d'orientation permet de commander et de manipuler l'écoulement de fluide dans le microcanal.
